Skillemoen Substation, Alta Norway, by Statnett

The work in this Design and Build contract includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation, interface control, testing, assistance during commissioning and energizing of the new Skillemoen Substation. The Skillemoen substation comprises AIS switchgear with 4 fully equipped bays for 420 kV bays and 7 fully equipped bays for 132 kV voltage level, control building and a larger warehouse building. Procurement and installation of the two 420/132 power transformers and 420 kV shunt reactor at the substation will be included in other contracts. In addition, a SVS-plant with 250 MVAr capacity shall be build adjacent to the AIS substation. Building of the SVS-plant will done under a separate contract.

The Design and Build contract will also include work at Balsfjord substation. This work includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation, interface control, testing, assistance during commissioning and energizing of civil works and HV works related to the new 420 kV shunt reactor at Balsfjord Substation. Procurement and installation of the new 420 kV shunt reactor that will be included in a separate contract.
